Chris is 5 years old. He's not really interested in using the digital microscope for biology or science work but he loves looking at his toys in it.

This is one of his Pokemon figures. It's a plastic toy about 2" tall. It's not science, but he's learning and having fun and that's good enough for me.

The nice thing about the QX3 is that the whole optical piece comes off the stand and can be used to look at almost anything close up. It's great for looking at the tattoo on the back of the Bishop's neck. (obscure Python reference)
